Gerald V. Salter

Principal

Gerald Salter has been working in the Construction industry for over 35 years with several Commercial, Residential and Industrial projects under his belt. He has managed numerous jobs with great success in a timely and budget friendly manner. Gerald has an associate degree in Accounting and currently lives in Evergreen, AL with his wife Sheryl. He owns and operates Salter Hardware a Do It Best Center.

Brent Salter

Principal

Mr. Salter received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery in 1996. He then earned a Master's degree in Building Science in 1998.

Originally from Evergreen, Alabama, Brent Salter has over 20 years’ of experience. Brent brings a long list of construction management skills after having served the last 7 years as President of the former Andrew & Dawson, Inc.

Brent has been involved in a number of organizations through the years and continues to support his Alumni at the Building Science Graduate Department at Auburn University. Here is a few of the organizations Brent has been involved with over the past several years: American Institute of Constructors (1997-2002). Southern Building Code Congress International, Birmingham, Alabama (1998-2002), Evergreen Rotary Club, Evergreen Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (1998-2003), Conecuh County Development Authority, Treasurer, Industry Advisory Council, Dept. of Building Science Graduate Department, Auburn University.

Brent has a long list of both commercial and residential projects he has been involved with. He currently is a Principal in SDS Property Group located in Pike Road, AL where he resides with his wife Nicole and two children Taylor and Marlee.

Rusty Daniel

Principal

Mr. Daniel has over twenty (25) years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry, with an emphasis on real estate finance and development. Mr. Daniel started his career as a real estate lender and subsequently an Associate in the Real Estate Capital Markets Group with NCNB National Bank and NationsBank, predecessors of Bank of America.

Mr. Daniel joined Hines Interests in 1994 as a Project Manager and subsequently a Southeast Regional Development Partner and Vice President, to initiate, finance and develop the following projects; Cool Springs, a 1,050-acre mixed-use development outside of Nashville, TN; Deerfield, a 550 acre mixed-use development in Atlanta’s Georgia 400 sub-market; and Overton Park, a mixed-use development in Cobb County and the first office building, the 400,000 square foot One Overton Park.

Mr. Daniel started his own real estate firm, FaithWorks Real Estate Development & Consulting, LLC in May 2003, and successfully initiated two large residential mixed-use projects; Serenbe in South Fulton County, GA; and The Waters, a 900 acre TND in Pike Road, AL.

In 2009 after successfully selling The Waters to an investment group out of Birmingham, AL, Mr. Daniel joined Bullock Mannelly Partners, Inc., an Atlanta real estate investment bank, representing capital sources in identifying income producing opportunities, and developers looking for equity capital to finance distressed note sales and purchases from financial institutions.

Mr. Daniel joined Brent Salter and Gerald Salter in 2012 to form SDS Property Group, LLC to provide construction, design, development and real estate sales services for clients in and around the Montgomery, AL metropolitan area.

Mr. Daniel holds a BS and Masters in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and lives in Pike Road, AL with his wife Lucy and his two sons, Russ and Davis.

Warwick Woodham

Project Manager

Mr. Woodham has worked in the Architectural/Construction industry for the past 33 years. Starting first in 1979 with Kirkland Woodham & Associates Architects, drafting with pen and ink on mylar film while attending high School at Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery Alabama. Mr. Woodham worked for Woodham & Sharpe Architects, PA as project manager and construction administrator until 2012. Mr. Woodham has worked on a variety projects throughout his career. Some of the projects include flight simulator building at Ft. Rucker, TJAG Dormitory at Maxwell Air Force Base, Hill/Quad Dorm renovations at Auburn University, new schools and classroom additions for Enterprise City, Chambers County, Montgomery County, and Auburn City School systems, restaurants, and doctor’s offices. Mr. Woodham was the project manager for the new 80 million dollar Enterprise High School. Woodham & Sharpe Architects was one of the pioneers in the industry to incorporate FEMA 361 storm shelters in the new Enterprise High School and Hillcrest Elementary Schools destroyed by the 2007 Enterprise tornado. Mr. Woodham was instrumental in designing and securing FEMA funding for the storm shelters. Mr. Woodham oversaw the installation of the FEMA storm shelters. Mr. Woodham resides in Montgomery with his wife Lori and three children Cowan, John Wesley and Isabella.

Donnie Summerlin

Builder

Donnie Summerlin has managed hundreds of residential projects spanning over 25 years in residential construction. Prior to joining SDS, Mr. Summerlin effectively ran one of Montgomery’s largest homebuilders, Aronov Homes. He managed projects in award winning communities encompassing Deer Creek, Breckenridge, and Dexter Ridge located in Montgomery as well as, Greystone and Brookstone in Prattville. Other successful projects in Montgomery consist of Summerset, Lake Forest and Summer Hill. He also has built homes in the growing Pike Road area including The Waters, Lochshire, and Bridle Brook. Mr. Summerlin has served on the Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association (GMHBA) Board of Directors since 2002. In 2007 he served as President of GMHBA and, in that same year was honored as GMHBA’s Builder of the Year. In 2009 Donnie accepted the responsibility of building the Extreme Home Makeover home in Montgomery; and, under his management the new home was constructed in less than a week. Donnie has a proven track record of building quality homes while also making the experience both professional and pleasant for the client. He is a graduate of Montgomery’s own, Robert E. Lee High School and attended Auburn University. Donnie and his wife, Kellie, live in Pike Road, Alabama. They have two daughters; Whitney (a Registered Nurse at Baptist Hospital) and Kacy (a student at AUM).

Jennifer Noble

Administration/Marketing

Mrs. Noble has worked in the Real Estate Industry for over 15 years. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Faulkner University in 2000. She has worked in Development, Commercial and Residential Management, and Construction.

Jennifer has performed Job Cost Accounting over the past 5 years and understands several aspects of the financial process in Real Estate and Construction. She received her Real Estate License in 2003 from Aronov School of Real Estate.

Jennifer Noble currently lives in Shorter, AL where both she and her husband Phillip of 14 years grew up. She has three children, Katelyn, Cole, and Josie. She is a very active member in Bradford’s Chapel United Methodist Church located in Shorter, AL.
